Wolter&C° is committed to protecting the privacy of our clients and visitors, both individuals and companies. You can browse through most of this site without giving us any information, but in order to use our services we do need information about individual users and/or the companies where they work. This privacy policy document explains our data collection, use, storage and access. By using our site, products or services (at wolterco.com, directmediation.com or internetetcetera.com), you consent to the practices described in this document.

Collecting Personal or Company Information. Wolter&C° will ask when we need any information that identifies you or your company (Personal or Company Information) or allows us to contact you. Generally, this information is needed when you are asked to register before ordering e-mail newsletters, or when purchasing and registering Wolter&C°'s products.

Use of Personal or Company Information. We use Personal or Company Information as an intrinsic part of the the services we offer. It is also used on an individual as well as statistical level to improve our services.

Except in the circumstances outlined in the notes below, Wolter&C° will not disclose any personal information to any third parties without your express permission, nor any company information without the express permission of the main registered contact for that company.
NOTE 1: We occasionally hire other companies to provide us with services. They will only ever be given access to the information needed to do their job and are strictly forbidden for using the information for any other purpose.

Access to Personal or Company Information. Wolter&C° will provide you with the means to ensure that your personal or company information is correct and current. You may review and update this information at any time.

Security of Personal or Company Information. Wolter&C° strictly protects the security of your personal or company information. We carefully protect your data from loss, misuse, unauthorised access or disclosure, alteration, or destruction. This information is never shared outside Wolter&C° without your permission, except under conditions explained above. Inside the company, data is stored in password-controlled servers with limited access. Your information may be stored and processed in Belgium, the United Kingdom, Germany, or any other country where Wolter&C° or our agents are located, and by using Wolter&C's° website or services, you consent to any such transfer outside of your country. You also have a significant role in protecting your information. No one can see or edit your personal information without knowing your Organisation ID, User ID and password, so do not share these with others.

Legal Information

All services that Wolter&C° bvba (hereafter known as Wolter&C°) provides to you are subject to the following Terms of Use.

Unless otherwise specified, you may not modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer, or sell any information, software, products or services obtained from Wolter&C°.

Documents. Permission to use documents (such as user guides, white papers, press releases, etc.) from Wolter&C° is granted, provided that:
• the copyright notice (below) appears in all copies and that both the copyright notice and this permission notice appear,
• use of such documents is for informational and non-commercial or personal use only and will not be copied or posted on any network computer or broadcast in any media.
• no modifications of any documents are made.
This does not include the design or layout of Wolter&C° website, elements of which are protected by law and may not be copied or imitated in whole or in part. No logo, graphic, sound or image may be copied or retransmitted unless expressly permitted by Wolter&C°.

Notice in Regard to Software, Services and Documents.
IN NO EVENT SHALL WOLTER&CO BVBA. BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR ANY DAMAGES WHATSOEVER RESULTING FROM LOSS OF USE, DATA OR PROFITS, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, NEGLIGENCE OR ANY OTHER ACTION, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE OR PERFORMANCE OF SOFTWARE, DOCUMENTS, PROVISION OF OR FAILURE TO PROVIDE SERVICES, OR INFORMATION AVAILABLE.

Registration, IDs, Passwords and Security.
When you register to use Wolter&C°'s services you provide us with relevant information which is stored as your profile. This profile may also includes an Organisation ID, User Name and Password.
• You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and profile.
• You are entirely responsible for any and all activities that occur under your profile.
• You agree to notify Wolter&C° immediately of any unauthorised use of your profile or any other breach of security.
Wolter&C° will not be liable for any loss that you may incur as a result of someone else using your password or profile, either with or without your knowledge. However, you could be held liable for losses incurred by Wolter&C° due to someone else using your profile or password. You may not use anyone else's profile at any time, without the permission of the profile holder.

Prohibited Use of Communications. The services offered by Wolter&C° may contain e-mail services, bulletin boards, chat rooms, news groups, forums or other message or communication facilities designed to enable you to communicate with others. You agree to use these only to post, send and receive messages and material that are legal and proper. While Wolter&C° does not constantly monitor all communication facilities, we reserve the right to do so at our discretion, and if we believe that a user is misusing the service, to bar their access to the communication facilities and / or all Wolter&C° services. Improper use includes, but is not restricted to: surveys, contests, pyramid schemes, chain letters, junk e-mail, spamming or any duplicative or unsolicited messages (commercial or otherwise); defamation, abuse, harassment, threatening or other violation of the legal rights (such as rights of privacy and publicity) of others.

Links to Other Sites. There may be links to third party sites within the Wolter&C° website. Wolter&C° is not responsible for the content of any linked site, or any changes or updates to such sites. We provide these links as a convenience only and do not endorse these sites.
